SIR, The council surveys for dogs on the beach was a waste of Southend’s money, as there hasn’t been an outcome, dogs were seen on the beach during the summer and there was no one enforcing. So, why have a rule if they aren’t doing anything about it. For me it’s more about the rubbish left behind by the humans including broken glass.

I have a Golden Retriever who like all, Goldie’s loves swimming with me and my friends who are disappointed when I come swimming without him, it’s like swimming with my own dolphin.
