A LOCAL live music night is celebrating its 40th anniversary with “blasts from the past.”

The Preview Club, which is held on the first Friday of every month at The Function Bar at The Plough pub in Westcliff will be offering attendees another free night out, featuring a variety of acts in different styles on Marc 1.

 With a friendly atmosphere, stage, lights, and good surround sound, it’s an event not to be missed!

From 8.30pm to 12 midnight, you can enjoy a number of acts, including Preview regulars John Rogers Playing mixed covers and Johnny Cash; The West Brothers; Peter Monk performing traditional folk songs; The Jives; Dave Symonds playing folky ballads; Ynamit; Gary Porter and Mick Cope; Bob Johnson; Chris Mcleod, along with Dave Woodcock and friends.

Event organiser David Anton says: “Everyone is welcome to the big birthday bash.

“There is our own entrance from the street, with a car park available, and located on the main bus route.”
