RAYLEIGH and Wickford MP, Mark Francois, joined the High Sheriff of Essex, David Hurst DL and Victoria Marzouki, Chief Officer of RRAVS, at a special Christmas carol service in his constituency.
The service, at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh, was held to recognise the work of the Rayleigh and Rochford Association of Voluntary Services (RRAVS), which helps co-ordinate the efforts of charities and voluntary groups across the Rochford District.
Commenting on the event, Mr Francois said: “I would like to thank the High Sheriff, David Hurst, who has a very busy schedule, for taking a Sunday afternoon to come to Rayleigh and support the very valuable work that RRAVS undertakes across the Rochford District.
“They are an asset to our community and their hard work deserves to be recognised.”
