Refurbished Play Area

FAMILIES can enjoy a newly refurbished play area in Hockley.
Rochford Council has officially reopened Clements Hall Play Space after several weeks of improvement works.
The refurbishment included replacing play equipment that is up to 20 years old and creating a bright and more inclusive space for children and families in the area.
A spokesperson said: “The new play equipment is fully open and ready to use. Some of the ground around the equipment has not yet been finished and will be seeded later this year. As the grass has not been sown yet, some areas may look unfinished, but this forms part of the final stage of the project.
“If you’ve not visited yet, why not take a trip to Clements Hall Play Space and see the transformation for yourself? We’d love to hear what you think of the new-look play area.”
