LEIGH’S Henry Burgers Restaurant, which has served the town for nearly 10 years, has announced that the venue has been put up for sale.
The bar/restaurant, which presents North American and European cuisine has been a firm favourite with Leigh diners since it’s opening in August 2014.
The owner of Henry Burgers, Henry Burgess has confirmed that the business is up for sale and its future is down to the new owners.
The property is being marketed through Ayers and Cruiks at an asking price of £600,000.
Coun Daniel Nelson, cabinet member for Economic Growth and Investment commented: “I am very sorry to see them go, but I wish the owners of Henry Burgers all the very best for the future.
“We are hopeful that the new owners will have plans to bring another offering for Leigh.
“We have so much to offer in Southend, and we will do all we can to work with businesses across the City.”
