Rochford Litter Pick

DEDICATED residents of Rochford came together to make a positive impact by participating in an organised litter pick.

Collaborating under the banner of “Rochford District Litter Picks,” these community members joined forces to diligently clear away discarded rubbish in the Rochford Central area, showcasing their commitment to keeping the area clean and beautiful.

A spokesperson detailed their findings over the excursion: “Besides finding Fast Gas canisters, 20 Sri Lanka rupees, a road cone, coat hangers, Kevin bagged up lots of recycling.

“Not quite as eventful as the Rochford litter pick were the Hockley and Hawkwell crew.

Two bags of non- recycling and one of recycling.

“We also reported to Rochford District Council to clear the kerbs and drains and to clear pavements of weeds that are breaking up the footpaths.

“Our volunteers have all done a fantastic job clearing our district. Thank you.”
