Farndale is abuzz with excitement as the Townswomen’s Guild prepare to stage their elaborately planned whodunit, Murder at Checkmate Manor.
But as the show begins it seems everything that can go wrong does! Scenery collapses, lines are forgotten, cues are missed and all manner of props and sound effects appear in the strangest places.
Can the eminent Mrs Reece elevate the production and deliver a truly stunning conclusion whilst overseeing a fashion show and audience quiz amongst the chaos?
A spokesperson said: “To see, come along and check out RODS as we present a hilarious evening full of Farndale fun and many a chess pun!”
Performances take place on Thursday and Friday at 7.30pm and Saturday at 6.30pm. Tickets are £11 and are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/rods or 07580 532068.
This amateur production of “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic society Murder Mystery” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. On behalf of Samuel French Ltd. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk.
