Searching For Sponsorship

TWO Rochford District councillors visited a Rayleigh boxing club to see first-hand the work its does helping youngsters in the community.

Danielle Belton, councillor of Hockley and Ashingdon ward, and Simon Wootton for Roche North Rural ward visited Rayleigh Community Boxing Club.

They met manager Tony, and youngsters who make use of the community facility, and leant how the club is looking for sponsorship from businesses in the area.

Coun Belton said: “Coun Simon Wootton and I visited Tony at Rayleigh Community Boxing Club.

“What a great set up, catering to all ages and abilities. We saw a variety of youngsters going at it in the ring and on the bags, all of them having a great time!

“The club are looking for local sponsorship if any of our wonderful businesses are interested in supporting this great new group.

“Thank you to Tony and team for inviting us down!”
