“Sing With Us!”

A LEIGH-based female choir are offering ladies over 18 years of age the opportunity to join them for their free open rehearsal.

 The Orpheus Singers female-voice choir is holding the open rehearsal on Tuesday 28th January, will be held from on 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Hadleigh Methodist Church, Chapel Lane.

 In addition to this, there is a free open workshop on Saturday 1st February, from 9.30am – 1.00pm.

 The Orpheus Singers enjoy singing spirituals, songs from stage and screen, jazz, traditional, folk and pop.  

 Founded in 2008 in Hadleigh, the Registered Charity choir has a membership of over 85 singers, with performances enabling them to support many local, national and international charities.

 A spokesperson explained: “We just love to perform.”

 They add: “So, if you would like to enjoy that uplifting experience of singing in a choir and meet friendly, like-minded ladies, you can be assured of a warm welcome at one of our rehearsals.”
