Speeding Fine

A WOMAN from Westcliff was fined for going 20 miles per hour over the limit in a Hadleigh High Street.

 Abigail Haken, of Hamlet Court Road, was behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra when she was found going 50 miles per hour in the road. The limit is 30.

 The 24-year-old appeared at Basildon Magistrate’s Court where she was ordered to pay an £80 fine, a surcharge to find victim services of £32, and £9- prosecution cots.

 Her driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
