A MENTAL health charity held an event to showcase various organisations at its Spring Forward event.

The charity welcomed individuals, volunteers, and groups to its premises in Fairfax Drive in late April, in an event that aimed at helping people learn about training and wellbeing opportunities in the area.

The event also included entertainment from local musicians and food from a number of local food businesses.

A spokesperson for Trust Links said: “Thank you to all the individuals, volunteers, organisations and businesses who came along to Spring Forward yesterday, helping our community members to take next steps in training, volunteering and more.

“A massive shout out and well done to our Menterprise members, who helped to cater the event with the wonderful Henry Burgers team.

“They’ve been working very hard to develop their skills and it was brilliant to see it come to life.

“We’d also like to thank the ladies from Southend Adult Community College who shared their beautiful Henna and bracelet making skills.

“And thank you to Dan Forbes and the Trust Links band for the lovely music.”
