St Clements held their 75th annual Remembrance Parade this November to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Crowds gathered to witness the parade on Sunday 10th, as they left the church and proceeded trough Leigh Broadway, following a service of Remembrance to pay respects to those who had lost their lives in war.
The Salvation Army band provide moving music for the solemn procession, whilst the Leigh Branch of The Royal British Legion lent support to the proceedings.
Keith Evans Chairman of the Leigh Branch of The Royal British Legion said: “On Sunday afternoon, the 75th Leigh Remembrance Parade and Service took place at St. Clement’s Church.
“The event was very well supported by residents.
“Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and participated in remembering, and to all the groups who contributed to making the occasion meaningful
“Thank you also to the residents for their generosity in supporting this year’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.”
