A BUTTERFLY-themed charity day in Hadleigh saw hundreds of pounds raised for a children’s hospice.

Morrisons raised over £700 for Little Havens and Together for Short Lives.

Classic cars were on show, and a raffle and cycle challenge were helped along by Spider Man, who made the day as fun as possible.

A spokesperson for Morrisons’ Community Champion said: “It was great fun and we managed to raise a whooping £718.59.

“Thank you so much to everyone who came to say hello and especially all those who donated. This amount will make such a fantastic difference to such an important charity.

“A huge thanks to our spiderman, our classic car crew, castle point leisure for the bike loan and the amazing hug in a shrug project for their amazing donations of an adorable raffle prize and butterflies.”
