NOW in its fifth year, Take the Stage is an extravaganza of dance and musical theatre, featuring the best of young Essex talent on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 July.

Founded by Leigh actress, tv presenter and now producer, Amy Burrows, the show sees over 650 young performers star in a fantastic celebration of song and dance, showcasing a huge range of dance styles from ballet to street dance, contemporary to tap, musical theatre to hip hop and jazz to acrobatics.

With performances from leading dance and performing arts schools from across the South East, the talent of tomorrow will ‘Take the Stage’.

Saturday July 1 Cast includes: Absolute Arts, Centre Stage Dance Company, The Evans Academy of Dance, Natalie Jobey’s School of Dance, NT Dancehouse, PS Dance, Starlight Dance Works, Star Studios of Performing Arts, WD Studios, The Musical Theatre Centre and Bailar.

Sunday July 2 Cast includes: ADC Dance & Fitness, All the Arts Theatre School, Dance Space Essex, Dance Steps Academy, Elevation Performance Academy, Harlequins Theatre School, Performers College Juniors, Razzamataz Rayleigh, Showbiz Studios, Tina Phelps Stage School and White Court Dance.
