A spokesperson from Bluebird said: “A huge thank you to Waitrose & Partners Southend for hosting Lisa, Lauren, Bea, Charlotte, and Kellie from Bluebird Care Southend and Rochford.
“They spent the day engaging with shoppers and collecting donations, raising an incredible £447.54 to support HARP.
“We’re so grateful for your support! Special thanks to Katherine Le Mare, our amazing community champion.”
Charlotte Stein, fundraising manager for HARP said: “The funds raised by the Bluebird care Southend and Rochford team will make a real difference towards our work and are hugely appreciated.”
The total amount of £447 raised will go towards providing meals for the homeless at HARP’s Bradbury Centre in York Road.
