Residents and visitors gathered at Holy Trinity Church for their family fun day.

Hundreds of teddy bears took the 70ft plunge to help towards the up-keep of a 640-year-old church, with each creature sponsored for its journey.

Ian Gale, volunteer said the event has been taking place for about 15 years, and has so far raised about £10,000.

The event on Saturday July 6th also saw families enjoy a handcrafted card, stalls, and BBQ refreshments.
