Admiral Court was rated out of 1,570 care homes in the East of England region, according to the website carehome.co.uk.

The website saw the home, part of the Hallmark Care Homes Group, given a ten out of ten grading, based on reviews from service users over the last two years.

General manager Susan Cruse said: “This is absolutely fantastic news to be recognised for two years running.

“I am very proud of the team and the high quality of care that they deliver to our residents.”

Based in Manchester Drive, the facility boasts its own hair salon and cinema, as well as a bar and cafe, plus a large garden.

Aneurin Brown, managing director of Hallmark Care Homes, said: “We are delighted to be named as a Top 20 Care Home Provider by carehome.co.uk for the eighth year running.

“The credit must go to the team who work with passion and commitment to maintain the high quality of care that we provide.

“It really does show that above all, we care about the residents and value our relationship with them as our greatest asset.”

Admiral Court also received an “outstanding” rating in its most recent Care Quality Commission inspection in 2020.
