ROCHFORD District Council has announced the opening of a new opportunity for voluntary organisation.
The Voluntary Organisation Grant is offers up to to £1,000 for groups in the Rochford district that provide support for residents.
Tracey Lilley, Director of Communities and Health, said: “We are pleased to again provide support to our key community and voluntary groups in Rochford district with the voluntary sector grant.
“This grant money has enabled our residents to be supported in some amazing ways in previous years and we are keen to see applications from new and emerging groups across the district.
“We particularly welcome new ideas and projects as our communities and residents continue to work together in these challenging times and the cost-of-living crisis.”
Grants up are available for projects that align outcomes with the local strategic priorities, as detailed in the Council’s Business Plan. and with the four key priorities of the Castle Point & Rochford Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2022-2025.

The closing date for applications is Sunday June 11.
