RAYLEIGHs’ floral creations have been recognised in a regional competition by winning gold in this year’s Anglia in Bloom.
Rayleigh Town Council Chairman Coun Danielle Belton and fellow councillors attended the Anglia in Bloom Awards.
There were accolades aplenty, with Rayleigh town awarded gold, Holy Trinity award Gold in the Churchyard category, whilst King George V Playing Field was award Silver Gilt in parks category.
A spokesperson from Rayleigh Town Council said: “Special mention to the amazing Edward Francis Primary School who were announced as winners for the Best Garden for Special Needs.”
Coun Belton added: “A huge congratulations to Edward Francis Primary School – this is an amazing achievement and a testament to the pupils, teachers and parents that made the space so incredible.”
The School will be presented with their award at the Rayleigh in Bloom Presentation in October.
