LIFEGUARDS in Chalkwell supported an initiative promoting the use of recycled bottles, to help prevent plastic marine pollution.

Volunteers from the Chalkwell Lifeguards Club gathered on Friday June 16, at Chalkwell Shelter with Chalkwell Coun Nigel Folkard, to Celebrate World Refill Day.

Chalkwell Lifeguards Volunteer Maurice Jardine said: “If only we could all work together to reduce plastic pollution in our communities the World would be such a better place and would help to save and protect the sea life all along our coastline.”
